Preserve, Uplift, Belong

Our vision

Every elderly person in South Africa deserves to be cared for with dignity, comfort, and love in their final chapter of life.

Our mission

Old School Village exists to walk alongside vulnerable seniors in old age homes, providing the extra support that government grants alone simply cannot cover, through the generosity of everyday people, businesses, and churches who choose to care.

Frequently asked questions

Is Old School Village a registered non-profit?

Yes. Old School Village is a registered South African Non-Profit Company (NPC). You can find our registration details on the About Us page.

Where does my donation actually go?

Your donation goes directly towards the extra monthly support an old age home needs for a sponsored senior, on top of what their SASSA grant already covers.

Can I sponsor a specific person?

To protect the privacy of the seniors in our care, we don't publicly name individual sponsees, but every sponsorship is allocated to a real person in need.

How do I see the impact of my donation?

We publish regular reports showing how funds were used and how many seniors were supported. You'll find these on our About Us page.
